Bangalore, Feb 22: The condition of actor-turned- politician and Karnataka Housing Minister Ambareesh is now stable following his hospitalisation after he complained of breathlessness, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said here today.

"There is no need for Ambareesh fans to worry. His condition is stable and (doctors told me) he will be all right in the next two days," Siddaramaiah said after a visit to a private hospital here where the housing minister is admitted.

The 61-year-old Ambareesh was admitted to the hospital last night after he complained of breathlessness.

Siddaramaiah, however, said that he could not talk to Ambareesh as doctors had advised him to take rest.

Many film personalities and political leaders have since yesterday visited the hospital to enquire after Ambareesh's health.
