
With regards to the œconversion by inducement of Muslims in Agra, which has rocked the on-going session of the Parliament, Gowda said, œEach religion has its own take on conversions. The Cabinet will consider all aspects before taking a decision on enacting an anti-conversion law.
He said the Centre had started the process of repealing obsolete laws. In all, it has identified 232 obsolete laws to be repealed by the Parliament.
On the decision to ban Kambala, Gowda said it was not correct to ban the rural sport which has a history of over 100 years.
