Mangalore, Jun 26: Actor turned producer Radhika breathed a sigh of relief after she heard about the arrest of thieves who had hatched a plan to rob her house at Salethoor in Bantwal taluk.

The black pepper stored in 21 gunny bags at the godown belonging to K M B Enterprises were stolen on July 21. The owner of the godown had expressed suspicion about one of the labourers identified as Harish.
Acting on a tip off, the police on Wednesday waylaid a Mahindra Scorpio which was transporting black papers near Mahaveer Collge. Three persons on board the vehicle identified as Naveen (30) from Valpady, Harish Poojary (32) from Kallamundkur and Sukesh Shetty (23) from Kairgundi here, confessed to their crime during questioning.
They also revealed that Yogi alias Yogiraj (23) from Nellikar, Yogeesh Salian (26), Mahesh (20) from Kotebagilu, and Pratap Rai (23) had helped them in stealing black pepper bags.
The police then recovered 16 more gunny bags full of black pepper from a deserted house in Hudco Colony here and arrested those four.
Meanwhile, two more persons involved in the plot to burgle the house of Radhika, the second wife of JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy, were arrested in Mangalore by a team led by deputy superintendent of police, Venkatesh Prasanna, on Tuesday. They are Ravi from Bajagoli, and Manjula from Mangalore.
It is learnt that the accused were planning to get the help of professional robbers for a major robbery in the house where Ms Radhika is currently residing with her family members.
Hoping to loot valuables worth Rs 20 crore from Radhika 's house, they were also trying to collect more arms and lethal weapons, it is learnt.
