Kalaburagi, Nov 11: Opposition leader in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also the Bharatya Janata Party State President, on Sunday said that the party's State Core Committee will meet on November 13 to take stock of the prevailing political situation following debacle in the Byelection held for three Lok Sabha and 2 Assembly seats and to chalkout strategies for 2019 Lok Sabha election.

"The truth is that money and liquor had a bigger role in this election.
Congress and JD(S) won the election using money and liquor power," he added.
He said the party expected to win both Shivamogga and Ballari seats but lost Ballari, our calculation in Ramnagara also went wrong, but we secured maximum votes in Mandya Lok Sabha constituency.
