Bengaluru, Oct 23: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said that BJP's image is coming down drastically in the country and the by-elections due next month in Karnataka, besides five State Assembly Elections due shortly to will prove that parties opposed to BJP was gaining much ground to bring down the NDA government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Expressing his confidence of Congress-JDS winning the November 3 byelecction to three Lok Sabha and two Assembly seats in the State, Mr Kumaraswamy, participating at Meet the Press organised by the Bengaluru Press Club and Bengaluru Reporters Guild here on Tuesday, said that "the outcome of by-polls will have its impact on the 5 State Assembly elections as well as on the Lok Sabha election due in 2019."
"BJP is losing ground steadily. It has reflected on BJP being on the losing losing side in recent elections and Mr Modi's image taking a severe hit. A strong message will be sent from Karnataka after the by-elections. Karnataka has played the role of changing national political scenario several times earlier and this time also it will happen," he added.
