Mangaluru, Jul 18: Two motorbike-borne miscreants stabbed a 24-year-old youth in his abdomen on Friday night near PA College of Engineering at Nadupadavu village on the outskirts of city.

The injured has been identified as Sirajuddin, a resident of Nadupadav who works as a sales executive in Karnataka Agencies in Mangaluru. The incident occurred when he was returning home on his scooter in the night after finishing his work.
The miscreants, who came on a black pulsar, intercepted Sirajuddin at Nadupadavu cross and stabbed him in his abdomen and fled the spot. This is forth such incident in Konaje-Ullal region and second incident in three days.
The youth, who sustained deep injury, rode his scooter a few metres and then screamed for help. The local residents came to his rescue and took him to a private hospital in Deralakatte.
It could be recalled here that on Wednesday night two unidentified miscreants who came on a black pulsar had stabbed Pradeep, a 26-year-old local youth in a similar way at Talapady when he was returning home after finishing his work.
Recently, two unidentified miscreants on a black pulsar had stabbed one Satish near Infosys at Konaje. After a few days, two unidentified miscreants on a black pulsar approached Ibrahim, a local youth at Pajeer, and under the pretext of enquiring something stabbed him and fled the spot.
Interestingly, in all four cases, two miscreants came on a black pulsar and stabbed in the abdomen of the victims. Jurisdictional Konaje and Ullal police have so far failed to solve the ‘black pulsar’ stabbing cases.
