Mangaluru: Coast Guard officer saves 2 lives

Mangaluru, Oct 22: An Indian Coast Guard officer saved the lives of two people, who were lying unconscious on the roadside due to electric shock, on Airport Road in Mangaluru.

A release from the Coast Guard, Karnataka, said Assistant Commandant Abhishek Wadhwa, belonging to 75 ACV Squadron, was heading towards Kunjathbail on Wednesday when he found the victims.

He performed CPR and revived one of the victims. The other person was shifted to A.J. Hospital, where doctors saved him.
