Hirekerur (Haveri dist)/Bengaluru, Apr 29: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that he would reshuffle the Cabinet soon but the date for the same is not decided yet.

Meanwhile, KPCC president G Parameshwara on Tuesday indicated that Cabinet reshuffle is likely to take place after elections to gram panchayats in the State.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Parameshwara said, “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already stated that the reshuffle will be done after the elections. Appropriate steps will be taken after consulting the party high command. Besides, a list of party leaders has been prepared for appointing them as directors to boards and corporations, he added.
Elections to gram panchayats are likely to be held in either last week of May or first week of June.
On the disciplinary action to be taken against MLA from Devarahipparagi A S Patil Nadahalli, he said, “He (Patil Nadahalli) had replied to the show cause notice stating that he was misquoted on the demand for separate Statehood for north Karnataka. Appropriate action will be taken as per the high command’s decision, he added.
Parameshwara said a State-level convention will soon be organised as part of the celebrations on Siddaramaiah-led government completing two years. But the date and place of the convention have not been finalised yet. The Congress government will complete two years on May 13.
