Mangalore Air Crash: Reinforcing 9/11 was an inside job?

June 19, 2010

It was fire all around. The scene of towering flames almost appearing to be kissing the sky unfolded in front of the eyes of the very first people who rushed to the spot, much to their discomfort and helplessness. The mishap took away the lives of 158 people with a few of them being laid to rest ‘unidentified’.

The scenes of the gutted aircraft and all that happened before and after the incident, do trigger your imagination…as to how death could have embraced all of them together…What must have happened to the people stuck in the aircraft as smoke and flames encircled them…and various other instances in history where an aircraft was involved in a tragedy start revolving around your mind. Somewhere in this tour that your range less imagination has set out to, it stops at one of the historic mishaps involving aircrafts, that dictated history post its occurrence – the twin tower attacks of 9/11 in the US.

Just as you start dwelling further into the WTC catastrophe, you go ‘hey, hold on a second’ and your mind comes back to Mangalore. Now you start juxtaposing the two incidents and as you do that, something strikes you. You revisit the scene where the airplanes are shown banging their way into the soaring WTC towers and then you see the fresh picture of the remains of the ill-fated flight lying in the Kenjar valley. That’s right, the valley. The ‘green’ valley, that had loads of trees which did not catch fire resulting in a forest fire kind of a situation, given the kind of vegetation the vicinity had. That too, in spite of the fact that the blaze might have burnt every single drop of petrol in the multiple litre petrol laden tank of the perished Air India Express IX-812!

Trees, hardly within a radius of a few metres, must have turned to ashes after the crash and most of the area around remained unburnt. It does tickle your mind as to how an aircraft explosion that could not extend its fiery impact beyond a few metres here, be able to bring down an entire WTC building and melt tones of iron that it was built of?

Although a large section of the media branded the 9/11 fiasco as a ‘terror attack’ throughout the globe, a fair section of it also claimed it to be an inside job. Scores of Americans themselves, including filmmakers such as Micheal Moore, through documentaries like ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ and the like, propounded the ‘inside job’ theory.

A research conducted by Professor Niels Harrit, Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and an international team of scientists, concluded that the cause of the WTC collapse was an estimated 10-100 tonnes of nano-thermite (super thermite), an explosive involving aluminium (Al) and iron oxide (Fe2O3) embedded in a silicon oxide matrix applied to an iron oxide-rich substrate, that were used for blowing the structure off, and not the invading aircraft.

Many such researches, theories, and statements from Americans themselves, are at one’s disposal on the web. One after the other, the version that 9/11 was an inside job kept getting stronger and continues to get stronger with fresher researches and findings bringing the skeletons out of the cupboard. The Mangalore air crash, may also perhaps, contribute in that direction a bit. The irony though, is that the US, perceived to be the ‘big boss’, continues to dictate terms to the world. Well, it’s the ‘Jiski laathi, uski bhains’ case.

But it’s also fair to remember that ‘Khuda ki laathi mein aawaaz nahi hoti!’
