Mangaluru, Dec 12: Once again, Congress veteran B Janardhana Poojary has come down heavily on Chief Minister Siddramaiah and demanded his immediate resignation. This time the reason for the former's outburst is latter's inaction in Excise minister HY Meti's allegedsex tape' episode.

He said that the CM should seek the resignation of Mr Meti for his alleged involvement in the sex scandal. “Siddaramaiah should expel Mr Meti from the cabinet if he does not tender his resignation on his own,” he said.
“If you (Siddaramaiah) are not capable of seeking Mr Meti's resignation or expelling him from the cabinet then you are unfit to be a CM. You can quit,” he said.
“The Congress party has dalit leader G Parameshwar, who is capable of becoming the chief minister of the state," Mr Poojary said and also lambasted against Siddaramaiah for his 'arrogant' style of functioning.
He said that the Meti episode has brought disgrace to the Congress. "It has brought not only embarrassment to party workers, but also a disgrace to the party in the state.
Siddaramaiah has least consideration for values as a leader. He gives least preference to values in politics and shows his arrogant nature. Moreover, he has control over his cabinet colleagues and his officials," Poojary charged.
