Karwar, February 23: Five Russian women were injured in a road accident near Haliyal in Uttara Kannada district on Tuesday.
It is learnt that the vehicle by which they were travelling collided with a boulder and overturned.
The accident occurred when they were returning to Goa after visiting the Tibetan colony at Mundgod. The driver of the vehicle was also injured.
The injured were shifted to medical college hospital in Hubli after administering the first aid. The details of the injured women were not revealed.
The Haliyal police are investigating the case.
