Bengaluru, Oct 28: JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy said it was not appropriate to demand George's resignation at this juncture where only an FIR had been registered.
Speaking to reporters here, he said it would be fair to demand George's resignation at the stage when the CBI uncovers strong evidence against him. "I will not demand George's resignation at this juncture. Registering an FIR is a routine procedure when cases are registered. It has become a common affair to register FIRs in the present day politics. I don't want to play politics in George's case."
