Rishi, who has directed a couple of Kannada movies, appeared before the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court on Tuesday and filed a complaint saying that Mythriya was his wife.

“We entered into wedlock on July 17, 2004 at Sanman Hotel. We stayed together at the hotel for almost four months. The relationship ended abruptly when she fled with Rs two lakh cash from me,” he stated in the complaint.

According to Rishi, he met Mythriya, while shooting for the movie Surya The Great,' and they later decided to get married. Rishi said that he found out that she had moved to Pune after deserting him. Rishi said that he met her at her residence in Ganganagar asking for the money she had stolen from him. She abused and warned him of dire consequences if he tried to reveal that they were married, he said. She threatened him claiming that she knew influential people and she could do anything to him, Rishi stated.

“I also a got a threatening call from a person on Monday afternoon, who told me that he would assault me if my marriage with Mythriya was revealed. So, I approached the Vyalikaval police, but they refused to register a case. Hence, I was forced to approach court,” Rishi said. The director claimed that it was he who gave her a chance to act in films.

Meanwhile, Mythriya and her family members refuted the charges.?They said Mythriya's wedding with Rishi never took place as she was just 16-years-old in 2004. They dared him to disclose evidences to establish his wedding with her.

On Tuesday, Mythriya was admitted to Chaitanya Nursing Home in R?T?Nagar after she complained of weakness. There were reports that she was rushed to the hospital after she felt dizzy. She was discharged late in the afternoon and is said to be recovering.
