HDK's son Nikhil to tie knot with film producer's daughter

Bengaluru, May 21: Nikhil Gowda, son of former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and Anitha, is all set to marry his girlfriend, he has been dating for a while.

Swathi M Gowda is the daughter of film producer K C N Mohan and director Poornima Mohan. She is the granddaughter of K C N Gowda, one of the top Kannada film producer, exhibitor, financier, and distributor.

Swathi’s father, Mohan said that the youngsters befriended each other in Mahaveer Jain College in the City, and eventually fell in love with each other.

“The dates for the engagement and wedding are yet to be fixed. I am both excited and apprehensive. We are, after all, talking about one of the biggest political families in Karnataka,” he added.

On Wednesday evening, the members of Gowda clan visited Mohan’s house to formalise the relationship.

Both Nikhil and Swathi are MBA graduates. Nikhil will soon make his acting debut in a film produced by his father.
