Mangalore, May 17: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has fallen short of words to express his gratitude to Prabhakar Bhat, the RashtriyaSwayamsevak Sangh king of Kalladka after registering a thumping victory against Congress veteran B Janardhana Poojary in Dakshina Kannada constituency.
When the saffron brigades across the district were busy in rejoicing the landslide victory of BJP, Mr Kateel was at the feet of Mr Bhat, whom he honestly considers as “guru, guide and solace of his moral being.”
Even though Mr Kateel was being targeted by his own party leaders after the exposure of alleged sex scandal, it was Mr Bhat, who silently backed the young MP. This is why receiving Mr Bhat's aashirvad' was the highest priority of Mr Kateel after winning the election for the second consecutive term on Friday.
Mr Kateel, who directly went to Kalladka after poll victory, bowed down to Mr Bhat touching his feet and receiving his saffron blessings. The duo spent a few minutes together in seclusion talking to each other.
“Oh, our MP already started lobbying for ministerial berth in Modi government,” said a BJP worker seeing the deep discussion between the two stalwarts.
