Fugitive Mehul Choksi approaches court against web series 'Bad Boy Billionaires'

New Delhi, Aug 26: Fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi approached the Delhi High Court against Netflix's upcoming web series 'Bad Boy Billionaires', through advocate Vijay Aggarwal.

The hearing on the plea is scheduled to begin shortly.

Choksi, the promoter of Gitanjali Gems, and his nephew Nirav Modi are accused in the Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case.

Choksi fled the country a year ago and was granted citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda on January 15, 2018.

'Bad Boy Billionaires' series throws light on the stories of India's most "infamous" billionaires- Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy and Byrraju Ramalinga Raju. The series will be released on Netflix on September 2.
