Mangaluru, Mar 30: Jet Airways has assured to fulfill the demand of Indian expatriates in Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia to launch direct flight between Mangaluru and Dammam.

However, demand for direct flight between Mangaluru and Saudi Arabian cities is yet to be addressed by the Jet Airways. Currently only Air India Express is operating direct flight between Mangaluru and Dammam via Kozhikode.
Raj Sivakumar, Chief Commercial Officer of Jet Airways, told Coastaldigest.com that the airline was carrying out a study to ascertain whether introducing a direct or flight between Mangaluru and Saudi Arabia is feasible.
He admitted that Jet Airways was seeing a good potential for direct flights to Middle Eastern countries from Mangaluru.
It may be recalled here that Coastaldigest.com had handed over a feasibility study report on launching Mangaluru-Saudi direct flights to the Jet Airways authorities recently.
