Bengaluru, Mar 10: Continuing his triage against chief minister Siddaramaiah, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Saturday charged that the Karnataka government had become bankrupt.

"Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is the master craftsman in finalising deals with senior officers. He has occupied the top position only to loot public money. A media house has established with evidences that the state government is bankrupt", he told reporters.
"I am not so big as to teach Siddaramaiah regarding finalising deals. He is expert in getting kickbacks. He has stopped widow pension and old age pension schemes due to lack of money", he said.
"It is 100% true that the Congress won't retain power and none of the announcements in the budget will be fulfilled. It is the JD(S) which will form the next government", he said.
