New Delhi, Jan 20: Soon after BJP declared Kiran Bedi as the CM candidate in Delhi, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal challenged her for a public debate before the assembly polls.
Kejriwal expressed that he wants to have a two hour long public debate on all key issues with Bedi before the assembly polls.
Kejriwal tweeted,
However, Kejriwal's former team Anna colleague Bedi declined his challenge for a public debate before the polls.
In a one to one with shutterbugs, former IPS officer and new BJP leader Kiran Bedi said she was game to hold a debate with Kejriwal on the floor of the House, but only after the assembly polls.
She added that while she believes in delivering her duty, the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal believes in debates.
The AAP chief also requested Kiran Bedi to unblock him on her Twitter account.
The AAP chief tweets,
Arvind Kejriwal is all set to hold a road show for nomination today. He will be covering 67 kms in two hours.
Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi were part of Anna Hazare's team which held a massive protest against corruption. They parted ways when Kejriwal joined politics.
Kiran Bedi joined BJP on January 15, 2015. She will be contesting against Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly polls.
