
Mangalore, Apr 17: Welcome to Coastaldigest.com's live coverage of voting trend in Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, which comprises of eight assembly constituencies and 1,766 polling stations at 992 locations. Among them there are 192 hyper sensitive and 424 sensitive booths. The district administration has arranged live webcasting from 247 polling stations in the constituency with the help of engineering students. As many as 8,108 polling staff, including 4,652 women are on duty at these polling stations today. In addition there are 1,800 Group D employees, police and supervisory staff also on duty. 213 stations have all women polling staff excluding security personnel. 14 candidates are in the fray.
