
The first and the second rank under Engineering category have gone to students from Bangalore and the third rank is secured by Sumith. Hence he is the topper in Mangalore, and also in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district.
Sumith has already made Mangalore proud by securing All India Rank seventh in scholarship exam KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) 2014 and also has scored 320 out of 360 marks in Jee-Main 2014.
Sumith is presently attending an Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) camp for International Chemistry Olympiad at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science education and research in Mumbai.
As many as nine students trained in Mangalore 's Centre of Advanced Learning have secured ranks within the top 100 in CET (Engineering and Medical).
