Mangaluru, Oct 19: The Mangaluru International Airport has been selected to receive the world quality commitment (WQC) award in Paris on October 25.

The WQC award in the gold category to MIA has been made by the WQC selection committee on the basis of the criteria of the total quality management, QC 100 principles, ISO 9000, customer satisfaction, and business results. The International WQC convention will take place in Paris on October 24 and 25 with the award presentation held to all oriented towards organizations focused on innovation, quality and excellence.
The award is sponsored by 26 Imarpress Media Publications, Frances. J T Radhakrishna, airport director, MIA thanked all Airports Authority if India officers, stakeholders of the airport, district administration, the state government, all airlines, commercial establishments of the airport for their efforts and coordination to bag this prestigious award.
