Mangaluru, Jul 26: Mangaluru International Airport is now Wi-Fi enabled for passengers. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) in collaboration with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) launched the facility for passengers at the terminal building on Saturday.

“The facility is free for the first half an hour. Later, it will be charged. People outside the building cannot have access to it,” he told The Hindu .
G.R. Ravi, General Manager, BSNL, Dakshina Kannada Telecom District, launched the facility.
Mr. Radhakrishna said that two more food outlets were opened in the airport on Friday. One was at the entrance of the departure bridge. Anyone can have food from this outlet.
Another outlet was opened inside international security hold area (where departing passengers would be made to sit after check-in and before entering the aircraft). Both stalls offer a variety of dishes.
The director said that Travel Food Services, Mumbai, will open a food court in the domestic security hold area and a staff canteen in parking area next month. They would serve a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Some shops were opened in the terminal building last month.
