The Udupi district police traced both the girls to Mumbai on Thursday night.
K. Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, said that the police had formed a special squad to trace both these students. “They will be here in Udupi in a day or two. They are both fine,” he said.
Two students G. Shankar Government First Grade Women’s College – Sandhya Shetty and Divisha, both 19 years old — had run away from their homes.
Both had left behind a note in their houses before leaving. Failing in their final year BBM examinations was reason for their step. They said that they did not come up to their parents’ expectation.
