Mangalore, December 7: “It is a perfect blend of comedy, love, sentiments and action”, said director P H Vishwanath during the releasing ceremony of new Tulu film 'Telikeda Bolli' at Central Cinema in the city.
Producers Sudhir Kamath and Sharmila Devdas Kapikad, actor Devdas Kapikad, writer Na Da Shetty, Prakash Pandeshwar and others were present on the occasion.
The Tulu film industry's 45th offering hit the screens in seven cinemas across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Thursday.
Starring Tulu popular artists Devdas Kapikkad, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Arjun Kapikkad and Ashritha Shetty, the comedy movie has successfully triggered laugh riot among Tulu cine-lovers.
The lead actor in the movie Arjun is son of Devdas Kapikkad, who has written the story, screen-play and dialogues for the movie. The dance sequences in the movie, which is a triangular love story, were choreographed by Madan-Harini. Guru Kiran is the music composer.
The film is expected to be released outside the state and other parts of Asia shortly.
