Mangalore, December 25: Chairperson of Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation N B Abubakar and vice chairperson of Non-Resident Indian Committee Ganesh Karnik have been removed by the government.
The move comes, following an order from Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who on Monday directed heads of all departments to cancel appointments of chairpersons of all boards and corporations coming under their purview.
Chairperson of Kanteerava Studios Limited M Rudresh was also sacked from his posts.
The recent BJP core committee meeting decided to drop all the existing chairpersons and make fresh appointments.
