Kasargod, December 29: In a shocking incident, a senior psychiatrist was found dead under mysterious circumstances in an under-construction school building at Yethadka in Kasargod district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Ravishankar (40), a psychiatrist working at General Hospital here.
Ravishankar is suspected to have committed suicide by consuming poison owing to some stress, Badiyadukka police said.
The psychiatrist might have died either on Thursday or Friday, they said.
The body has been shifted to General Hospital for a post-mortem examination, they said.
A case has been registered at Badiyadukka police station and investigations are on.
