Mangalore, Jan 14: All India Muslim Personal Law Board president Maulana Mohammad Rabe Hasani Nadvi has called upon the Muslims of coastal Karnataka to work for the promotion of brotherhood and unity in the society.
The senior Islamic scholar on Monday participated in a programme at Iqra Arabic School in Mangalore, on his way to Mumbai from Bhatkal.
Speaking at the programme, he said that Muslims should avoid all kinds of useless confrontations and cultivate good relationship with all.
“We should grow beyond the boundaries of region and language and work together to reach our goal. We should always be grateful to our creator,” he said adding that Islam always encourages to live in harmony.
On the same occasion, Maulana released a few books published by the school. Maulana's brother Waze Hasani Nadvi was present on the occasion. School principal Salim Khaleefa Nadvi welcomed and proposed vote of thanks.
