CD Network
loveMoodbidri, Jan 20: The girl who fell in love with a boy from different faith and broke out of her family following a clash with kin was handed over by Moodabidri police to Prajna Counselling Centre in Mangalore.

It is said that Rinna Crasta (25) from Kuriyala of Bantwal Taluk fell in love with Irshad (27) from Karinje. After three long years of relationship, the two decided to take it a step further and enter into wedlock. Three days ago, Rinna went missing and the couple appeared before the Marriage Sub-registrar's office to submit an application to register their marriage.

When Rinna was found at Irshad's home on Friday, the police summoned her to the police station where she expressed her wish to get married to Irshad and refused to return home. Following her stance, several members of her family gathered in front of the police station.

After lengthy talks with both the sides, the police decided to send Rinna to stay at Prajna Counselling Centre for a few days. Irshad returned home.
