Meanwhile, chief minister Oommen Chandy has assured to convene a meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on March 25 to discuss the issues raised by the EPJM.
People's representatives, including P.Karunakaran, MP, MLAs, district panchayat president P.P. Shyamala Devi, will meet Mr. Chandy at the Secretariat at 5 p.m.
It was also agreed to invite to the meeting representatives of the agitating activists to assess the problems faced by endosulfan victims and their families, most of them in remote hamlets in the district.
A decision to this effect was taken at a KPCC-government coordination committee meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday, sources here said.
The decision to hold the meeting comes days after senior Congress leader V.M. Sudheeran urged the Chief Minister to convene a review meeting to ensure more transparency and clarity in the rehabilitation measures for the victims.
