Hubli, Mar 11: The Hampi Express was detained at the Gadag Railway Station for nearly two hours after the railway authorities got a call that a live bomb had been planted on the train on Sunday.

According to the sources in the railways, the authorities in Secunderabad received a call from an unidentified person stating that a live bomb had been planted on the train. The railway authorities in Secunderabad immediately alerted their counterparts in Hubli who subsequently halted the train at Gadag station.
