This was the scene at the Annual Day of Euro Kids Pre-school, Kaprigudda, held in Jeppu here on Saturday. Children belonging to Playgroup and Nursery programs in the pre-school were given personalised graduation scrolls on the occasion, following which they showed their smiles and talents on stage.
As the theme of the annual day was 'Seasons of Joy', the little kids swayed to rehearsed melodies on sunny weather and monsoons, much to the delight of the family members.
Chief guest Dr Sujitha Thomas, senior scientist at Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Mumbai, gave away the graduation scrolls and mementos to the kids of playgroup and nursery. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the little kids were the future of the country, and it was heartening to see them taking their first steps in the world outside.
The staff members of Euro Kids were also given mementos for their joyous care and dedication towards the kids. Parents of the children also had an enjoyable time on the occasion, as they were made to compete for reciting the highest number of names from a chosen letter.
Leena Binoy, centre director of Euro Kids pre-school, was present on the occasion.
