While tanker driver Cheluvaras, tailor Guruvappa, Shobha, Vanitha, her son Chitresh, Sunil were burnt alive in the mishap, Omni driver Vasanth and housewife Khateejamma succumbed to the injuries they sustained on the same day (Tuesday) in the hospital. Vimala, an anganawadi teacher had succumbed to burn injuries at a private hospital in Mangalore on Friday.
