
Addressing media persons at the district party office in Mangalore on Thursday, Mr. Ibrahim said that people are fed up of BJP's maladministration. Exit polls and media surveys have already shown that Congress will reign supreme after the Assembly elections. The party also estimates that it will bag at least 130-135 seats in the state Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim said.
Mr. Ibrahim on the occasion revealed the names of party officials who have been appointed as election observers for the Assembly elections in the district.
Those named include DD Kattemar (Mangalore North block), Mithun Rai (Mangalore South block), S Abbas (Ullal block), T S Abdulla (Mudipu block), Santhosh Kumar Shetty (Pane Mangalur block), M S Mohammed (Bantwal block), Farooq Ullal (Surathkal block), Madhava Maave (Gurupura block), Shalet Pinto (Moodbidri block), Dharnendra Kumar (Mulky block), Nazeer Matha (Puttur block), Rajshekhar Nayak (Vittla block), Sridhar Bhide (Kadaba block), K P Thomas (Sullia block), Sudarshan Jain (Belthangady town block), and Naveen Bhandary (Belthangady rural block).
