Mangalore, May 14: The renovated building of Muhiyuddin Juma Masjid of Panambur Muslim Jamath will be inaugurated on May 17.
Addressing the media persons on Tuesday Panambur Muslim Jamath President Muhammad Saleem Rafi said that Ullal Qazi Assayyid Abdurrahman Kunhi Koya Thangal will inaugurate the masjid at 12.30 p.m.
He said the Masjid was renovated at the cost of Rs 1.60 crores.
He said the stage programmes will be inaugurated by Ali Kunhi Usthad Shiriya at 1.30 p.m. Kanthapuram A P Aboobaker Musliyar will be the main speaker.
Union Minister Dr K Rahman Khan, State Wakf Board President R Abdul Riyaz Khan will be chief guests.
Newly elected MLAs and city corporators will be felicitated on the occasion, Mr Rafi said.
G Husein Bawa, Umarabba, Aboobaker and P Aboobaker were present at the press meet.
