Rai promises support to Vishwakarma community

Bantwal, Sep 19: Minister for Forest and Environment B Ramanath Rai has promised to extend maximum financial support from the government and from MLA's Fund for the construction of Vishwakarma community hall at Jodumarga, BC Road.

Taking part in the 20th year maha pooja celebrations of Vishwakarma Samaja Seva Sangha organised at Narayana Guru hall, BC Road on Monday, he said that Vishwakarma community is notified as one of the backward classes and with this it should step forward to strengthen economically.

"The community needs political power. The government is committed for the development of communities”, he said requesting community members to take benefit of Vishwakarma Development Board.

President of Vishwakarma Samaja Seva Sangha Manoj Acharya Nanya handed over a memorandum to Mr Rai. Members of committee B Jayaprakash Acharya Thumbe, Prakash Acharya, Purushotam Acharya and Mounesh Vishwakarma were present during the occasion.
