
Mangalore, Oct 8: Four persons were critically injured as a tipper carrying backhoe loader flipped on road at Pilinja of Goltamajalu Village in Bantwal.
The injured are Vijay (25), Karinur Davangere, Ummar Faruk (20), Shanthinagar Puttur, Naushad (19) and Devraja (25), all are residents of Arakalgudu Hassan.
They were heading towards Uppianangady carrying Backhoe loader on tipper to after completing work in Bolanthoor. While reaching slop near Pilinja due to heavy load driver lost his control and it toppled on road.
Three sitting inside including the driver tipper were thrown off and one who was inside the backhoe loader was jammed under vehicle.
Strike of private hospitals in Bantwal delay in treatment
The injured were immediately taken to a private hospital in Bantwal however due to strike by medicos hospital in Bantwal the injured had to be taken to private hospital in Mangalore. Condition of Prajwal among four injured is said to be critical.
