
The work was initiated by the Mangalore South MLA J R lobo by breaking the coconut.
The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 25 lacs.
A formal inaugural function was also organized in this occasion. J R Lobo was the chief guest and T Praveen Chandra Alva, Corporator for Ward no 49, presided over the occasion.
On his keynote address, Praveen Alva promised the locals to respond to their problems at all times.
On his address, Lobo said, even though this area falls under Mangalore City Corporation limits, yet it is like a rural region. Hence the area needs a lot of attention and developments. We will also focus on the improvisation of basic necessities to these sorts of rural areas. Public also needs to support us in this cause, he urged.
Leaders Prabhakar Shriyan, Ex-mayor Sesamma, Shashidhar Bajal, T K Sudhir, Krithin Kumar, Bharath Ram, Umesh Devadiga, Gopal Shetty, Girish Shetty, Naveen Lobo, Wilfy Monteiro, Anil, Ronny Nagori, Joe D'Silva, Jaya k, Victor, Ravi Kuntalgudda, Suresh Mastar, Officials A W Linge Gowda, JE Ganapathy, Mescom JE Vishwas and others were present in large number.
