A release addressing the passengers read: “You must arrive at the airport early enough to complete check-in, immigration and security procedures in time to be present at the boarding gate. The flights cannot be held for customers reporting late to the check-in counters and hence, no responsibility shall be taken by the airline in such cases.”

“We advise our customers to report to the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled time of departure,” says an Air India express Dammam official.
