Mangalore, Oct 19: Questioning the motive behind Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for extending financial help to minorities for weddings, state vice-president of Sri Rama Sene Kumar Malemar accused that state government of favouring the Muslim community for its vote bank and neglecting the Hindus in the state.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, he warned the state government of severe protests in the future if the favouritism continued.
CBI probe in Soujanya rape and murder case
Urging for a CBI probe in the Soujanya rape and murder case to ensure justice to the victim's family, he said that the Sene condemned the act of few individuals who were trying to malign the holiness of Dharmasthala.
“Although Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi has raised his voice in the Soujanya case and many are against his act, where are the people now who call themselves intellectuals,” he demanded.
