
Belthangady, Nov 7: At least 25 persons were injured after a KSRTC bus in which they were going overturned after hitting a tree in Nidigal near Dharmasthala on Thursday morning.
The KSRTC bus was going from Kadur to Dhamastala. The bus driver, Nagaraj, lost control over the vehicle and hit the roadside tree around 6 a.m.
Conductor Revanappa, Shwetha Hospete, Anusha Hospete, Durgappa Hubli, Basavaraj Hospete, Anand Dharwad, Nagaraj Harihara, Chandrakanth Honnanagara, Prathap Tarikere, Manji Ranibennur, Malatesh Manjappa, Satyanarayana, Basavaraj Haveri, Girish Shivmogga, Naganna Gowda Haveri, Bhaskar Ballary, Hanumantha Gadag were injured.
Four among them with grievous injury have been taken to the Government Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore.
A case has been registered with Belthangady rural police.
