Mangalore, Nov 15: Kalia Rafique and Shamshuddi from Uppala-Bappaithotti, the duo wanted in Muthalib murder case and several other cases were successfully nabbed by the police, from Mumbai on Thursday.

Muthalib (38) from Mannnakuzhi in Uppala was first shot at and then hacked to death by a gang on October 24.
Though the culprits hid themselves in Bangalore, they then moved into Mumbai. Following the information about the police reaching Mumbai to nab them, the two had fled to Ajmeer, near Mumbai, from where they were finally arrested by the police on Thursday.
Uppala Rafique, the third accused in the case has been arrested by the police earlier.
During the interrogation, Kalia Rafique confessing to the crime has informed that he had plotted Muthalib's murder two months before its execution.
Ansar from Bayar Kurudapadau, residing in Mumbai too has been arrested by the cops for helping the duo in Mumbai.
