Bengaluru, June 20: Taking strong exception to attack on serving Doctors, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today assured to bring in more stringent law to punish those who indulge in such heinous crime.
Speaking after inaugurating newly constructed Operation Theater in KIDWAI Cancer Hospital built with financial assistance by Infosys Foundation here on Thursday, he said that it is paining to note increase in the incidents of attack on serving Doctors. “Such incidents should be condemned by one and all and though there is three year jail term in the 2006 Act in the State, the rules will be further strengthened to ensure protection to Doctors.
Underlining that role of philanthropists are very important in Education and Health field, Kumaraswamy said that Infosys Foundation has come forward to extend financial help to upgrade 8 km road in Mydani Village in Karwar District. The State government will extend its full cooperation for such works.
