Mina, October 27: India Fraternity Forum volunteers continued to provide their volunteer service that has been of much relief to the pilgrims streamed from Arafat and Muzdalifah to the tent city of Mina.

IFF volunteers had already started their service in Mina on Dhul Hijjah 7, guiding the pilgrims to their tents while arriving from the holy city of Makkah. From the night of Dhul Hijjah 8 onwards they were helping the pilgrims to move to Arafat.

The volunteers also were engaged at all the railway stations to help the pilgrims in guiding them to their designated stations.

They assisted the weak and sick to reach Arafat. While returning to Mina from Muzdalifah also many pilgrims were helped with wheel chairs.

“All of these were possible because of adequate training and necessary deployment plan with prompt coordination”, said Iqbal Chemban, Coordinator, IFF, and Ashraf Morayoor, President, IFF.

Comprehensive map of Mina prepared by IFF members, utilising years of their experience in serving the pilgrims was well appreciated by all due to its simple and easy appearance and very useful for all the pilgrims in locating the tents and guiding the lost pilgrims.
