Jubail, Jun 22: Rula Iqbal, daughter of Surathkal-based couple Iqbal Sawkar and Selika Iqbal, has bagged academic achievement award at Indian International School-Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for her performance in recently held Class X CBSE examination.
The girl was honoured with gold medal in a grand felicitation ceremony for securing A1 grade with over 95 per cent marks.
Rula, who aims to become a doctor, will be persuing her PUC in Mangalore.
She also has keen interest in Islamic studies.
