Kasargod, Mar 5: Three persons were arrested in Kasargod on the charges of selling suspected drug laced chocolates at a primary school premised on Tuesday.
Police arrested Mohammed Ashis, Y Mahesh and Abubaker after nine students of a primary school at Nellikkunnu were hospitalized eating chocolates.

The Class III students of Anwar-ul Aided Upper Primary School at Nellikkunnu were rushed to the General Hospital here shortly after they ate the toffees distributed by a classmate as part of his birthday celebrations. The children felt giddiness and started vomiting after taking the toffee.
They were treated at the hospital and discharged in the evening, a senior police officer here said.
As the incident triggered commotion in the school, the parent of the child who distributed the toffees lodged a complaint with the Town Police Station.
A team of police led by principal sub-inspector P. Uthamdas raided a shop on the new bus station premises from where the toffee packet was bought.
They seized the toffee stock at the outlet and arrested the accused under the provisions of the Kerala Police Act.
The police suspected chances of mild narcotic content in the toffee, causing stomach upset.
The toffee samples were handed over to the Food Control and Health Department officials for detailed laboratory examinations, Mr Uthamdas said.
The police had recently seized drug-laced toffee packets from an outlet near the old bus station premises here.
