Bengaluru, Oct 8: An FIR has been registered against Congress stalwart and Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar following a complaint lodged by a BMMP official in connection with putting up banners despite in violation of ban.

Shivakumar was earlier in trouble when the ED filed a money laundering case against him and his associates and the I-T department informed the High Court that he made a benami deal of Rs 4 crore.
Shivakumar was in Ujjain on Sunday for a puja at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple. The Jarkiholi incident against the Congress was because they blamed him for interfering in Belagavi's district politics, but he is the Congress' go-to man during times of trouble and has been made the Ballari in-charge.
