Indian Overseas Congress condoles demise of Bahrain PM

Manama: IOC executive team headed by Mr Mohammed Mansoor, President of IOC extended sincere condolences to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and to the Royal family, and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the sad demise of Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Mohammed Mansoor was approached from several leaders of the INC Office, headed by Mr. Rahul Gandhi and was first to tweet and expressed his grief and passed his deepest condolences to HM King, the Royal family and the people of Bahrain.

Also the IOC Chairman, Mr. Sam Pitroda, expressed his sorrow and condolences to HM King, and the family.

Also recalled their last visit as State guest, where they had the opportunity to discuss bilateral ties, and mutual interest which would benefit to both the countries in field of sports, arts and culture.

The relations between the two countries are very cordial in terms of policies, economic and cultural exchanges. Bahrain hosts about more than 350,000 Indian expatriates and the close bond established since inception is treasured and this legacy has been continuing.
