Mangalore, Nov 28: The second additional district court granted bail to Rasheed Malbari bail in two of the cases on Thursday.
He was sentenced for five year rigorous imprisonment by the fourth additional district for illegal possession of arms in August this year.
He will have to spend four more months in prison.

The court then had found him guilty under section 25 (1) (a) of Arms Act. The judge had said the period of detention that Malbari has undergone will be set off against the sentence of imprisonment.
Incidentally, Malbari, who was arrested on March 30, 2009 had already spent 53-months in jail till August and had to serve remainder of the seven month sentence in a central prison in the state.
In October too, he was granted interim bail, but he continued to remain in custody as he was charged in other cases too.
