Kollur, Nov 20: JD(S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda has predicted the onset of new political dawn for India with the regional parties emerging to prominence and the national parties losing their hold.
Addressing the reporters after taking part in'Navagriha Chandikayaga' at Kolluru Sri Mookambika temple, on Tuesday, he said that the government at the state is unnecessarily wasting time in making promises.
He questioned if there was a need for a Co-ordination Committee when a party has come to power with absolute majority.
Claiming that in his 52 year long stint in politics he has never resorted to using derogatory or unparliamentary language on his opponents, he said that the language used by the state leaders has led to people feeling ashamed of the entire political system.
Speaking of the ongoing conspiracy from certain quarters to finish JD(S), he said that several hands, at the same time are toiling to fortify the party so that it bounces back to the throne.
“The people of Karnataka will support and fortify the JD(S),” he said.
Temple Executive Officer L S Maruti among others were present.
